Why Gloojo®

Why We Make Different Lenses

Some people come to us because long screen hours feel uncomfortable. Others are sensitive to office lighting, deal with migraine-related photophobia, or want a darker environment before bed.

We build around those use cases instead of treating every problem as “blue light.”

Work in It

Screens and indoor lighting can stay in front of your eyes for hours.

Feel It

For sensitive eyes, ordinary brightness can sometimes feel like too much.

Wind Down in It

At night, artificial light can follow you long after daylight is gone.

How We Choose a Tint

One tint can’t do every job.

A lens for daytime screen work should not feel like a lens made for the final hour before bed. A migraine lens also has a different job from either of them.

We adjust tint, darkness and filtering around when the lens will be worn and what the wearer needs from it.

Daytime

Stay comfortable in the light you work in.

For screens, indoor lighting and brighter daytime environments.

Sensitive Moments

Soften the light when it feels like too much.

Targeted lens profiles for migraine and light sensitivity.

Evening

Make the night look more like night.

Warmer, deeper tints for the transition from evening light to sleep.

See the Tint Before You Choose

Put Them On. See the Light Change.

Tinted lenses change both brightness and color. We show the tint clearly so you can judge whether a lighter daytime view, a migraine tint, or a deeper evening tint makes sense for you.

Professional Lenses, Within Reach.

Specialized light-filtering lenses shouldn’t feel difficult to understand—or out of reach. We work directly across lens development, production, testing and prescription customization, focusing our resources on what changes the experience most: the lens itself.

Measure the Light

Make It Wearable

Color, darkness, material and coatings are adjusted around the intended light environment. A lens only matters if people can comfortably make it part of real life.

Daily Light, Made More Intentional

A Better Relationship With Light.

We don’t think every light problem should be solved by simply blocking more light.

The right lens depends on the moment: clearer contrast for daytime work, targeted filtering for sensitive eyes, or a darker view before bed.

The goal is practical: help you choose the light environment that fits what you’re doing.

Gloojo® Lens Development Log

Latest Lens Updates

Step by step, Gloojo® is getting closer to the way you actually live with light.

2026 · LIGHT GRAY

A More Neutral Migraine Tint

Rose works well for many light-sensitive users, but the visible pink tone is not ideal for every setting. Light Gray was added as a more neutral everyday option.

The current lens profile targets selected blue, amber and red wavelengths while allowing more green light through.

Dark Red lens development

2026 · DARK RED

A Darker Night Option

Red remained our balanced nightly recommendation. Dark Red was added for people who wanted the darkest visual environment and stronger pre-sleep filtering.

It is a more specialized option—not a replacement for Red.

2026 · PRESCRIPTION

Rx Service Goes Live

Many customers needed both vision correction and a specialized tint. We added prescription production so selected Gloojo® lenses could be ordered in Single Vision and Progressive formats.

The goal was practical: customers should not have to choose between clear vision and the lens profile they want.

2026 · YELLOW + GREEN

Daytime Focus Expands

Yellow was developed for screen-heavy work and contrast. Green gave us another daytime direction for brighter environments where a different visual balance was useful.

This moved our daytime range beyond one general-purpose tint.

2025 · AMBER

A Warmer Daytime Lens

After developing evening tints, we added Amber for people who wanted a warmer daytime view without the darkness of a sleep lens.

It became a practical option for brighter spaces and longer screen sessions.

2025 · ROSE

Migraine Filtering Starts

Standard screen-focused lenses were not enough for customers dealing with migraine and light sensitivity. We added a rose tint based on the established FL-41 direction.

The product goal was different from sleep eyewear: targeted indoor comfort rather than simply making the view darker.

2024 · RED + ORANGE

Night Ease™ Begins

Our first specialized lens direction focused on evening light. Orange gave users a lighter transition for screens and reading; Red offered stronger filtering for the nightly wind-down.

Those two lenses became the starting point for the Night Ease™ range.

STILL DEVELOPING

We’re Not Done With Light Yet.

New environments. New sensitivities. New lens ideas. We’ll keep testing what comes next.

Have a light need we haven’t covered? Tell us. We’re listening

Designed With a Purpose. Tested Against It.

Color alone is not enough. We review transmission data, tint consistency and optical quality before a lens becomes part of the range.
We also use third-party testing and compliance documentation where applicable, so key product claims can be checked against actual reports and standards.
